Brighter Than The Night is a Christmas animated music video created for SpudBros, celebrating kindness, community, and collective action. The film follows Preston the Spud on a journey through a snow-dusted Spud Town, produced in support of Vicky McClure’s Our Dementia Choir, raising awareness and funds for people living with dementia.
I worked as a freelance 3D generalist as part of a four-person team at Drawing Board Studios. Working from supplied concept artwork, I contributed to 3D character modelling, character rigging, and character animation, and also designed and modelled a number of background “extra” characters to help populate the world of the film.
The project was developed collaboratively within the studio pipeline, with animation, music, and storytelling working together to support the campaign’s charitable aim.
